Pretty close to Noto, Marzamemi is a fascinating little city that develops itself on the sea. The atmospheres, suspended between rarefied and typical sicilian ones, make this little place an obligated stop in the area. Marzamemi is also famous for being a gastronomic exellence – above all for fish; of great interest are the main square (Piazza Regina Margherita) and the Old Tonnara. The city centre is filled with pubs and restaurant, giving a modern tone to an ancient beauty.
